The Lighthouse Trail
This trail is a fairly flat hike on a dirt path until you reach a sign that states the trail ends. At the sign take the path on the left. It’s a steep but very short section. At the top there is a bench which is a great place to take in views of the towering rock formations. Then pick a path and scramble up. Once you take it all in just head back the way you came in.
Make sure not to underestimate this trail. Although it is easy, it can get extremely hot. Plan to hike in the morning or late afternoon. There is no shade on this hike. We hiked it in March and it was about 90 degrees. Pack enough water per person and don’t forget water for your dog.
